Consequently, before being listed on our Web site: www.inns-bb.com all the Bed & Breakfasts, B&Bs, small country inns, chambres d’hôte and even houses and cottages for rent were first selected by the Association de l’Agrotourisme et du Tourisme Gourmand du Québec  according to the highest standards for quality. In the same way, all the establishments that serve country-style and farmhouse meals and regional cuisine, restaurants, agri-tourism farms listed on our Web site: www.terroircuisineandproducts.com have also been selected by the Association according to the highest standards for quality.
 
The leader in the development of certifications* for tourism, the Association de l’Agrotourisme et du Tourisme Gourmand du Québec* has committed itself to helping visitors, from within Québec, this beautiful Canadian province, and from abroad, to discover and explore Québec in an entirely different and more personalized way. It has been 35 years since the Association de l’Agrotourisme et du Tourisme Gourmand du Québec first began awarding distinctive certifications to the best establishments offering accommodation, food service and agri-tourism.
 
Today, certified Gîtes et Auberges du Passant (Bed & Breakfasts, B&Bs and Country Inns) constitute the largest network of quality lodging establishments in Québec. But quality has its own requirements! For this reason, the Association has put in place a certification program – a very detailed process for selecting establishments based on: a promise given to our customers; standards for certification; a procedure for evaluating requests for certification; quality monitoring, which includes inspection visits and a system for dealing with customer complaints; certification identification tools. More specifically, the establishments certified by the Association must meet strict standards for quality and ethics on a continuing basis. These standards apply to the level of hospitality offered, the owners’ knowledge of the tourist region, food service and facilities.
 
In short, for your getaways or your vacations, if you are looking for a lodging establishment, a bed & breakfast, a B&B, a chambre d’hôte, an inn or small hotel with a charming atmosphere typical of Québec, regional cuisine, a restaurant, country-style or farmhouse meals, an agri-tourism farm, an agri-tourism activity, a house or cottage to rent  - you’ll always be assured of quality if the establishment selected is certified by the Association de l’Agrotourisme et du Tourisme Gourmand du Québec.
